There are some people in life who simply enjoy making others happy. They enjoy making people laugh, feel good, and truly appreciate the small things in life. The world found one of 'these' people in comedic actor, John Candy. As a fan favorite, John Candy was as humble as they come. In a video that recently resurfaced, Candy gives an interview about his role in the film Planes, Trains and Automobiles that he played in 1987. This interview reminds us just how much we love his attitude and why he was such an influential force in acting.

As a down-to-earth guy, John Candy was willing to answer interview questions honestly. When discussing the task of getting his hair permed for the sake of this role, interviewer Mike Randall also had to get his hair permed, as you can see in the video. As John begins the interview, he lets Randall know that he appreciates his kindness and willingness to get his hair done alongside him.
