Actor John Amos looks fantastic and youthful in a new social media photo as he poses with Adam Sandler.

Veteran actor John Amos is turning 80 on December 27, 2019 according to IMDb, but he doesn’t look it in a recent Instagram pic. The bespectacled friend next to him in the casual photo is actor Adam Sandler who Amos will be starring with in a new Safdie brothers movie. 

“Many thanks to both you @adamsandler and the Safdie Brothers @bowedtie / @booger_nose for inviting me to have a small part of this amazing film,” read the caption. “It is truly an honor! Check out Uncut Gems in theaters Christmas Day. -J.A.”

The caption refers to the movie “Uncut Gems” that will be released in theaters all over the country soon. Sandler’s performance has been received well by critics, such as Justin Chang of the Los Angeles Times, in a dramatic turn for the comedic actor.

Amos is also known for his comedic stylings such as his role as Cleo McDowell in 1988’s “Coming to America,” starring Eddie Murphy. Fans will be excited to know that Amos is reprising his role for the sequel, “Coming to America 2” according to Deadline.
