Jimmy Fallon's Wife Nancy Can't Control Laughter When Their 5-Year-Old Daughter Gets Distracted During The Tonight Show: At Home Edition Filming

Jimmy Fallon premiered The Tonight Show: At Home Edition last week in response to the social distancing measures that are currently keeping everyone homebound. Instead of forgoing episodes of his variety show, he's been making them himself at home with the help of his family and various celebrity guests via video calls. In one episode filmed on a Friday, his daughter Franny seems to have given up caring, as halfway through filming she stops assisting her father and starts making a loud racket through the house. What's even funnier is to witness Jimmy and his wife Nancy break into laughter from in front and behind the camera.

The Tonight Show: At Home Edition has been proving very popular among audiences –– not only does it offer a unique, behind-the-scenes glimpse into Jimmy Fallon's home and family life, but it's been keeping us entertained as much of the world remains in lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

For the filming of the show, Jimmy is assisted by his family, including his wife Nancy Juvonen, who acts as his cameraman, while his daughters, six-year-old Winnie and five-year-old Franny, help out in other ways such as making graphics for the show, standing in as his band, and holding visual aids.

In a recent episode filmed on a Friday, during the "Thank You Notes" segment, his youngest daughter Franny had obviously had enough. As Jimmy tries to utilize the help of his daughters to hold visual aids as they all sit down together, Franny gets up and walks off while nonsensically singing loudly "Ba da ba woo ba be!" Jimmy's face says it all, as the scene cuts to take two.

The second take doesn't end any better, with Franny attempting to do a handstand on Jimmy's lap before he's even able to get any words out. This is when Nancy first begins to break into laughter –– which says a lot considering she's been able to remain silent as the cameraman for much of the show's short tenure so far.

Take three begins alright with Jimmy continuing his segment, before loud banging on pots and pans can be heard all the way from upstairs –– no doubt Franny's doing. Nancy can't hold in her laughter any longer and resorts to a throaty chuckle this time. Jimmy attempts to retain composure and keep the show going, but also soon caves in, as Nancy states: "It's definitely Friday around here."

Finally we get to take four and one without distractions. Jimmy is able to finish his bit with the help of Winnie, while Franny is nowhere to be seen or heard, and neither is Nancy in that case.

It's heartwarming to see Jimmy and his family work together in this time, but it's even better when they are so obviously having fun together, even if it's at the cost of the show's slick production values. The rest of the episode is equally entertaining and features Jimmy's former Saturday Night Live co-star Tina Fey as a guest.
