As a hopeful comedian, Fallon landed the job of a lifetime when he was commissioned as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live." While he originally planned on staying for only three years, the comedian stayed on the show for a total of six years, portraying a variety of characters and growing his success more and more as time went on.
Fallon started off by doing impersonations of well-known stars such as Robert De Niro and Howard Stern. He even did impressions of "SNL" alum Adam Sandler. The rising star also showed off his long list of talents as he is also musically gifted – something that he showed early on during his time on the variety show.
Co-hosting the "Weekend Update" segment alongside writer Tina Fey helped cement Fallon even more as a true star on the show, and he even went on to showcase his skills on other shows. He used his success to further propel his own career and co-hosted the MTV Movie Awards in 2001 and 2002. His comedy album "The Bathroom Wall" was even nominated for a Grammy Award.
As the years progressed, so did Fallon's career. He went from being a beloved cast member on "SNL" to the host of his own TV show after about 20 years of professionally working in the industry. The comedian and actor currently hosts "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," which first aired back in February 2014. The show is a replacement for "The Tonight Show" with Leno. TV host Fallon and his wife Juvonen have been married for 12 years. The couple started dating when actress Drew Barrymore set them up during a birthday party she organized for Juvenon. Fallon and Juvonen first met while working together on the 2005 movie "Fever Pitch," where Fallon and Barrymore starred as the main characters. Juvenon was a producer on the film and was also Barrymore's business partner and close friend. Even though Barrymore played Fallon's love interest, his eyes were set on Juvenon, and their romance started blossoming from there.
The two officially started dating in May 2007 after Barrymore connected them at a birthday party she threw for Juvenon. Shortly after – three months to be exact – Fallon proposed to Juvenon at her parents' summer home in New Hampshire. According to Access, Fallon proposed with a one-of-a-kind emerald cut diamond and platinum ring designed by Neil Lane.
Fallon reminisced the proposal to People, saying, "I went out to the dock and said (to myself), 'Don't cry. Let her cry first,' I'm a pretty mushy guy... and I just wanted it to be perfect. I got down on one knee and I immediately (started weeping)."
As someone who has rarely hid how he feels on television, it's not surprising that Fallon was extremely emotional during such an important moment in his life. Thankfully, everything worked out according to plan.
"She said yes, and we celebrated and it was fun," Fallon said. "The rest is history." Since tying the knot in December 2007, they have become parents to two girls: Winnie, who was born in 2013, and Frances, who was born in 2014.

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" was suspended from taping in March 2020 in lieu of the COVID-19 outbreak. Fallon continued to engage his fans and audiences with a 20-minute version titled "The Tonight Show: At Home Edition." The episodes were recorded from his house, usually starring members of Fallon's family, and guest interviews were conducted by video call.
Fallon and his wife had fun working alongside each other during this time with the segment "Ask the Fallons," and viewers loved getting some insight into the cute couple and their relationship. During this time, Juvenon also stepped in on the production side of the show. According to Fatherly, Juvenon signed up as Fallon's camerawoman for the home edition of his talk show. This was a pleasant surprise for everyone as it was the first time viewers really got to see Juvenon step in front of the camera since Fallon first rose to fame as a talk show host.
Fallon also called on the help of some of his other family members. American hip-hop group The Roots is typically the band that plays on the talk show, but since they couldn't be with Fallon during the period of social distancing, Fallon's own daughters stepped in.
Nowadays, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has returned to its normal run on TV, and Fallon is continuing to make fans and audiences smile and laugh. More importantly, he is continuing to be a stand-up father and husband to his amazing family. Who knew that Barrymore was such a great match-maker?
