Jessie James Decker Has Had Enough Of Airplane Etiquette After Smelly Bare Foot Incident

Country singer Jessie James Decker isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and one fellow airline passenger just learned that the hard way. The “Wanted” singer recently found herself dealing with an unexpected in-flight nuisance when a bare foot appeared on her armrest. And let’s just say she wasn’t about to put up with it quietly!

Decker, 38, shared a video of the bizarre encounter on Instagram, showing herself reacting to what she claimed was a particularly smelly foot belonging to the passenger seated behind her.

In the clip, the singer can be seen covering her nose and mouth as the offending foot rests beside her seat. Clearly unimpressed, she then reaches for a bottle of spray and gives the foot a generous spritz.

The passenger quickly pulls the foot away, while Decker appears to laugh at her own handiwork.

“Someone’s foot smells so bad on the plane,” she wrote over the video.

But the mother of four wasn’t finished there. She also turned to her millions of Instagram followers for their verdict on the unusual situation.

“Before you come at me … What would you have done?” she captioned the post.

And it seems plenty of people were ready to take her side!

One Instagram user wrote, “If they’re comfortable enough to put their dusty feet on my armrest, then well, I’m a spray it too.”

Another agreed, writing, “That is so rude of them to put there [sic] smelly feet on your arm rest I would of done the same thing.”

Others weren’t quite so forgiving of the mystery passenger.

“I’d do just what you did!!! Spray the stinky foot!!!” one commenter declared, while another suggested the passenger should have been escorted off the plane.

A former flight attendant also weighed in, criticizing travelers who treat airplane armrests like their own personal footrests.

But not everyone was convinced Decker had actually sprayed a stranger.

Several commenters wondered whether the mystery foot belonged to her husband, former NFL player Eric Decker, with whom she shares four children.

“Please tell me that’s Eric’s foot and not some random person’s foot!” one follower pleaded.

Another joked that the foot had to belong to her husband, writing, “We all know this is Eric’s foot.”

Decker was quick to shut down that particular theory, however.

“Have you seen Eric’s feet? Toeeeee UP,” she responded, seemingly insisting that her husband’s toes were not responsible for the in-flight drama.

While the singer didn’t reveal the identity of the passenger, her video certainly got people talking about one of the biggest annoyances of flying: passengers who forget that they’re sharing a confined space with other people.

The incident comes as Decker and her husband continue to enjoy life with their growing family.

The couple, who married in 2013, share daughter Vivianne Rose, 12, and sons Eric “Bubby” Thomas II, 10, Forrest Bradley, 8, and Denver Calloway, 2.

The family recently celebrated Halloween together, with the Deckers embracing a Marvel-inspired theme. Jessie dressed as Scarlet Witch, while Eric donned a Captain America costume. Their children also joined in on the superhero fun.

And while the singer may have been busy celebrating the spooky season with her loved ones, it seems she also found time to tackle a different kind of Halloween horror: a stranger’s bare foot invading her personal space.

One thing’s for sure. The next time someone decides to use an airplane armrest as a footrest, they might want to think twice before doing so around Jessie James Decker!
