Jennifer Lopez Posts Adorable Video To Mark Her Twins Emme and Max’s 17th Birthday

Singer Jennifer Lopez commemorated a significant milestone in February 2025: her twins, Max and Emme Muñiz, turned 17. To honor this special occasion, the renowned singer and actress shared a heartfelt video montage of her sweet family on Instagram, offering fans an intimate glimpse into their lives over the years.  

Lopez shares Emme and Max with ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony. Despite their separation in 2014, both have remained dedicated co-parents, ensuring their children are surrounded by love and support as they grow. Over the years, Lopez has been candid about the joys and challenges of motherhood, but the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” singer doesn’t usually post photos of her children online. However, the special video she shared to celebrate their birthday was a happy exception, and it was received warmly by fans who wished the twins well.

The montage, set to Miley Cyrus’s “Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix),” began with tender moments from Emme and Max’s infancy, showcasing Lopez as she cradled her twins as newborns. As the video progressed, it highlighted various stages of their growth, including playful childhood antics, backstage embraces, and family vacations. Notably, the compilation featured Emme’s memorable onstage appearance during the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show, a testament to the passion for performance that she inherited from both of her parents. In her caption, Lopez affectionately referenced her terms of endearment for her children, whom she called her “coconuts.” She wrote:

“Seventeen. I love you beyond forever 🥥🥥”

Lopez is one very proud mom! The singer, 55, had previously spoken about her motherhood journey and how she wished the best for her adorable twins. In an interview in 2024, she opened up about balancing her career and being a parent.

“Okay, there’s so much going on here. And I understood it. I mean, as a mom, you always want to put your best foot forward for your kids,” Lopez shared. “You want to lift them up. That doesn’t stop you from being a human being who struggles.”

Despite her positive experience with motherhood, Lopez has also spoken out about her fears of being a single mother after she and her ex-husband, Anthony, divorced in 2014. She has also experienced parenting as a single mom in between her subsequent relationships. In an interview promoting her 2024 movie, “Unstoppable,” Lopez spoke about how her role as a single mother influenced her perception of the movie.

“I’ve been a single mom at times in my life, and (I’ve asked) ‘Am I enough for them?’” Lopez said. “And the truth is, all you need is really one good parent to love you.”

As Lopez continues to raise and nurture Emme and Max, she cherishes all the moments they share, both big and small. Her video tribute melted the hearts of many social media users, with many expressing shock at how quickly time has sped by with the way the twins have grown. Seeing the superstar performer, who also goes by the moniker J.Lo, embrace and enjoy motherhood with Max and Emme is nothing short of sweet.
