Jennifer Lopez Flashes Toned Abs On ‘Best Date Ever’ With Teen Daughter Emme

Jennifer Lopez stole the show at a public appearance with one of her twin children, garnering admiration for how classy they both looked. The “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” hitmaker, 55, and her child, Emme Muñiz, stepped out in New York on Mar. 23, 2025, for the Broadway premiere of William Shakespeare’s “Othello.” The global superstar, known for her dazzling presence on and off the stage, turned heads as she arrived with her teenage child. It was a rare and touching moment as the star is not in the habit of attending many premieres with either of her children as her date.

The singer and actress shared pictures and videos of the duo’s looks for the night on her Instagram, and the post garnered over half a million likes. The post also included a sweet video of the two shimmying as they prepared for the grand opening. The adoring mom then leaned in to give her child a peck. In another video in the same carousel, Lopez made a few turns in front of the camera, giving fans a full glimpse of her stunning two-piece ensemble. The post also included candid shots of Lopez getting ready, an up-close picture of her finished makeup look, and another of her and Emme posing on the red carpet. She captioned the post:

“Othello premiere with the best date ever ✨”

Her famous friends showered the singer and her child with praise and compliments, gushing over how stunning both Lopez and Emme looked.

Lopez and Emme were among the many fans eager to watch Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal’s revival of the classic “Othello.” Although they wore different looks, the duo gave off similarly sleek vibes. Lopez dazzled in a two-piece outfit from Zuhair Murad’s fall-winter 2024 couture collection. The singer and actress, 55, bared her toned midriff in the black top, which she coupled with a floor-length skirt, both tastefully bedazzled. Lopez accessorized the look with diamond circular earrings, a chunky gold ring and a chic black clutch. Keeping her makeup natural and hair styled in an artistic bun, she completed the look with a black fur coat. 

Emme also proved that the fashion genes run in the family in a classic two-piece black and white pinstriped suit. The 17-year-old added a grey shirt, black and white tie and chunky black loafers. The look was completed with a pair of glasses, silver rings and cool earrings and necklaces.

Despite her long and successful career, Lopez’s most treasured role is being a mother to her twins, Max and Emme. She shares the twins with her ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony. Lopez also celebrated her twins’ birthday earlier in the year with an adorable video tribute of them through the years. She also gushed over her beloved children and their futures in an interview.

“It’s unconditional love,” she said. “I know everybody feels this way about their kids, but I just feel like they’re super special. I can’t wait to see what they do.”

We have already gotten some glimpses of Max and Emme, and with parents like Lopez and Anthony, it’s a given that the two are in for an incredible ride in life, one way or another.
