Jennifer Lopez Could Be Leaving the US

The superstar has some surprising news for us! After decades of being based in the US, she now longs for a quieter, simpler life, perhaps in a small town in Italy, or village in Bali, where she could experience a more calm existence. 

"I would love to live somewhere other than the United States," Lopez admitted, when asked about her future in a recent interview here in Vanity Fair.

It seems megastars long for things we normal people take for granted, as she went on to say she would love to:

 "...ride a bike, and buy bread, and put it in my basket, and then go home and put jelly on it, and just eat and paint, or sit in a rocking chair where there was a beautiful view of an olive tree or an oak tree and I could just smell. I have fantasies like that."

Up until now, the star's passion for all that she does has meant she had to be US-based. "I would say dancing and music are my first loves, but acting is the love of my life" she explained. 

Once hitting the big screen, the star was consumed by the craft. But is the time approaching where she is ready for something totally different?

Now 50, Lopez will be putting her any dreams of moving on hold at least temporarily, while she headlines at the upcoming Super Bowl. 

Embracing the opportunity and describing it as "a blessing", she enthused about the chance to represent women, and Latina women especially, alongside fellow superstar Shakira at the event.
