Jennifer Aniston Said She Was 'Freaked Out' By A Popular Vlogger Lookalike That Appears 'Pretty Close' To The Actress

Jennifer Aniston is known for being one of the kindest and most beloved actresses. She has been in a plethora of movies and television shows and has earned herself a huge fan following. Some of her biggest box office hits include "Bruce Almighty" from 2003, "Marley & Me" from 2008, "Horrible Bosses" from 2011 and "We're the Millers" from 2013. Aniston's most recent acting job included starring on the TV series "The Morning Show," which aired from 2019 to 2021.

Finding her breakthrough as Rachel Green on the hit sitcom "Friends" that began in 1994 and aired until 2004, Aniston quickly skyrocketed to fame. During her time on "Friends," Aniston's beauty was highlighted with one very specific haircut that has since gone on to be referred to as "the Rachel" or "the Rachel haircut." It perfectly framed Aniston's face and was bright and inviting, and it really brought out her bright blue eyes.

A TikTok user has recently gone viral for her uncanny resemblance to the famous actress. Between her appearance, facial expressions and perfectly executed mannerisms, Lisa Tranel looks extremely similar to Aniston, from the bright blue eyes to a haircut just slightly longer than the famous Rachel hairdo. 

After posting a TikTok where she lip-synced along to a scene from "Friends," many people were blown away by just how much Tranel resembled the actress. Aniston herself made a comment about Tranel's appearance in an interview from August 2021. Keep reading to see what Aniston had to say about her lookalike. 

Tranel has accumulated many followers on her TikTok account, totaling over 243,000 followers. Looking like Aniston has been pretty common for her, so much so that she has even assured people that she is actually not the famous actress. "Not Jennifer Aniston," she wrote in her TikTok bio. Tranel has experience as a model but is most known as being an online influencer, especially on Instagram and TikTok.

In the now-viral TikTok, Tranel lip-synced along to a scene from the 1997 "Friends" episode "The One Where Chandler Can't Remember Which Sister." In her video, Tranel resembled Aniston both in her looks and her mannerisms. E! News said that Tranel had an "incredibly accurate portrayal" of the famous "Friends" actress. 

Speaking to InStyle, Aniston said she had seen the videos of Tranel before. The actress said, "A friend sent that to me — I watched it, and it freaked me out. She's not exactly like me, but of all the people who have said, 'I look just like you,' she was pretty close. Sometimes you say, 'Thanks?' And other times it's, 'Wow, thank you.'"

Aniston added that there is one impersonator she felt got almost too close to her mannerisms. She said, "Vanessa Bayer on 'Saturday Night Live.' I remember someone saying, 'Did you see the impression of you on SNL?' My first response was, 'What? No, I'm not impression (-worthy).' They played it for me and (gasps), 'That is so not the way I sound.' Then I was like, 'Uh, oh. Oh, I see.' Everyone said it was a compliment, but I had to really get my brain around that." Hopefully, Aniston can see how much of a fan these impersonators are and does not feel offended by their portrayals of her.
