Jennifer Aniston And Adam Sandler's Friendship Began In The Greatest Way: With French Toast

Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler recently came back together after 2011’s romantic comedy “Just Go With It” for the Netflix movie “Murder Mystery,” but they were friends long before they were co-stars. The two recently spoke to Jimmy Kimmel about their adorable decades-long friendship.

Jimmy started the show by saying, “You are quite a duo. I think you’re one of the most unexpected duos in all of everything.” Although it’s a big statement, it actually might be true. The glamorous Jennifer and the hilarious but often unkempt Adam Sandler are a comedy match made in heaven. The banter on Jimmy’s couch made that self-evident and transfers to their on-screen chemistry.

But who knew that the beginning of this Hollywood friendship started over breakfast? The two revealed that they met through mutual friends having breakfast at Jerry’s Deli over French toast. “We were friends before Friends," Jennifer said. "We must have been like real family in another life."

Just like family, the two were teasing each other during the interview and Adam joked while they reminisced about the deli and said, “Do you remember you said ‘Watch this’ and then downed a bottle of Smart water?” referring to Jen’s ads for the water brand.

The two went on to talk to Jimmy about their relationship now and the current movie they star in together. Adam also divulged information about his daughter’s recent Bat Mitzvah and the secret musical star who appeared that night.
