A Star is Born  was one of the biggest movies of 2018. What many might not realize is that the 2018 film, starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, was the fourth remake of the classic. While the remake of A Star is Born from 2018 was popular, the 1976 version was equally fantastic. The 1976 version starred Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. In a surprise performance, Streisand and Kristofferson got back together in London in 2019 to perform a duet from the film - 43 years after it came out.

The fans of this classic fell in love with Barbara and Kris. They were fascinated by their performances in A Star is Born from 1976. Over the years, many fans asked the stars to reunite and perform the famous duet from the film. The fans were given the brush off by the couple. Then, out of the blue, Barbara teased her social media followers in 2019.

The tease was a photo of her and Kris. She posted it with a caption that read: "It was so wonderful to see my friend Kris who stopped by yesterday. Stay tuned...😉 " The fans who follow Barbara on social media should always stay tuned because there might be a reunion in the making. In July 2019, true to her word, Barbara performed live in Hyde Park and had a surprise in store for the crowd of fans who came out to see her live performance.

What was Barbara's big surprise for her fans? It was that her former co-star Kris walked out onto the stage in Hyde Park. Forty-three years had passed since the duo had sung the infamous duet from the film. The two sang Lost Inside of You. They did not miss a beat. The fans in the crowd wanted the pair to sing the entire soundtrack for the film. Barbara and Kris left it at the one song, though.

While the 2018 version of A Star is Born brought new fans for the classic, it was Barbara and Kris's performance in the film that many have recognized before 2018. Barbara and Kris need to perform the hit single Lost Inside of You more often. They only came together in July 2019 following the success of the fourth remake.
