Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet were one of the most influential power couples in Hollywood. The couple announced their split in January 2022, shocking fans and the media across the globe.

Momoa and Bonet were together for almost 16 years and are the proud parents of 15-year-old daughter Lola Iolani Momoa and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, 13, whose parents simply call him Wolf.

Both Momoa and Bonet are accomplished actors. Bonet was one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood in the 1980s and 1990s and rose to fame after starring in "The Cosby Show."

Although Momoa and Bonet are no longer together, they have continued to co-parent their children.

He has made it clear that he intends to stay in his kids' lives and also that he thoroughly enjoys being a father. His Instagram is filled with loving pictures of him and his children, whom he called his "greatest work of art."

"I want to be remembered as, I hope, an amazing husband and a great father," he told Men’s Health.

On Nov. 11, 2022, Momoa took the whole family on a trip to “Slumberland” — the red carpet premiere of his new Netflix film — as he brought his two kids, Wolf and Lola along.

Momoa, who was all smiles and having real fun on the red carpet with his two kids, stopped by E! News Online and shared how dynamic and adventurous a family they are, similar to his character in the fantasy adventure flick. Read on to learn more about Momoa’s family dynamics and his thoughts on his children’s future.

Momoa is an actor and filmmaker who has been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut in the action-drama series “Baywatch: Hawaii” in 1999 and stayed on the show until 2001.

A few years later, Momoa went on to star in the science fiction series “Stargate Atlantis.” He found even more fame when he was cast as Khal Drogo in the first two seasons of “Game of Thrones.” Today, the Honolulu native is best known for his role as Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe.

Despite his celebrity status, Momoa doesn’t actually want his kids to go into showbiz. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the actor shared his thoughts on his children pursuing a career like his.

"Aw man, one of them wants to do it, and I'm not a fan," Momoa revealed. "I don't want them to. I don't know. I'll try my damnedest to keep 'em out of it."

Even though Momoa admitted that he loved directing, filmmaking and theatrics, among many other things, he said that he would have wanted the two to “go for other things.” Asked if they would really insist on pursuing such a career path in the future, Momoa had this to say:

"If they want to, maybe. But I don't want them to get into acting. It's very hard on people, and I don't want them to have that pressure. I'm tough, I can handle it, but I wouldn't want to put someone I love (through) that."

Although Momoa is reluctant to let his kids fall into the same career as him, that doesn’t mean that he won't invite his kids to celebrity gatherings like premiere nights. In fact, the red carpet premiere for “Slumberland” was their second time going to a premiere together this year, the first being for “The Batman.”

Wearing what looked to be a purple silk pajama set, Momoa dressed for the occasion on the red carpet premiere of his new film, "Slumberland." Accompanying him were his two children with Bonet — Wolf & Lola.

In photos taken at the premiere, the three posed wildly and happily during the rare family outing. Wolf, who is now 13, is the spitting image of his father, while Lola, 15, seems to be very confident and is almost a carbon copy of her mother, Bonet.

Momoa and Lola chatted with E! News Online and revealed what they’re thankful for, as the event took place three weeks before Thanksgiving 2022.

"My babies and my family are the most important thing," Momoa gushed. "We always go on adventures, so we go on road trips. We go wild and go camping around the world."

Asked by the outlet if she saw her dad on set, Lola dished out a pretty big behind-the-scenes scoop for “Slumberland.”

"We were there for most of the time," Lola elaborated. "It was incredible. Me and my friends choreographed a dance routine to ‘Don't Start Now’ by Dua Lipa, and my dad loved the dance, so he put it in the movie."

Lola even gushed about the similarities of her father to his character in “Slumberland.”

"He had an amazing time doing Flip because it was so much like him,” she quipped.

Evidently, Momoa’s very spontaneous and outgoing personality has been passed down to his kids, who were true naturals in speaking to reporters and a delight to see in photos.
