Jaden Smith recently launched a pop-up food truck to help feed L.A.’s downtown homeless population. Smith is the son of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith who have also been known for their charitable efforts. The truck offers free healthy vegan food for people to come and pick up from the window.

Jaden Smith unveiled his new philanthropic initiative on his Instagram account this past Monday. "The I Love You Restaurant Is A Movement That Is All About Giving People What They Deserve, Healthy, Vegan Food For Free,” Jaden wrote alongside a photo and video of the trucks.

The rapper also added, “We Launched Our First One Day Food Truck Pop-Up in Downtown LA. Keep A Look Out Because This Is The First Of Many.” Other celebrities showed their approval of Jaden’s efforts by commenting on the posts.

Kevin Hart reached out to Jaden to say, “This is so dope...I love what you are doing man.” While the PETA organization wrote, “Love this so much, you’re helping changing the world for humans and animals .”

This is not the first time the entertainer has given back to those in need. Last year, Jaden’s JUST company worked with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Flint, Michigan to tackle the issue of the lead-ridden water the city is facing. The partnership helped install a filtration system that will reduce contaminants and lead in the water according to USA Today
