Jack Black Works With With Jimmy Fallon For A Shot By Shot Remake Of 'More Than Words'

"The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon is known for comedic musical segments on his show where he teams up with celebrity guests for entertaining songs and games. In a 2015 episode, comedian Jack Black came on to recreate the Extreme video for "More Than Words" with Jimmy. The results were truly hilarious.

The exact shot-for-shot remake starts off just like the 1991 music video, where the metal band's drummer and guitarist turn off their amps and walk away from their instruments. That leaves the two lead singers and an acoustic guitar. It's a stripped-down, black and white video that is perfectly remade by "The Tonight Show"'s production team.

The moment where we see the long-haired pair sitting on their stools, you might need a double-take to make sure it's not Extreme's two singers Nuno Bettencourt and Gary Cherone. In fact, it's Jimmy on guitar acting as the straight man with no expression on his face, and Jack on vocals, performing in his signature animated way.

Each glance and motion echoes that of Extreme's, and their sincere performance is wonderfully entertaining especially because they both are very talented and have extremely good voices.
