Part of the reason fans may be calling these last years the years of Dion is because of the impressions Dion has made across fashion and music. Vanity Fair put Dion on their "Best Dressed" list of 2019. The publication writing about the singer, "Celine Dion, in her fashion-mad, slightly gonzo embrace of “extra.”

“I always loved fashion – it’s not something new,” she said to the LA Times. “But my team and I decided it’s OK to go to fashion shows, then it made such an impact that they wanted me to be in the front row. And that turned out to be a big deal.”

The singer also just released three new songs and kicked off her "Courage" World Tour where she will hit 50 North American cities. Not only that, but the performer is gearing up to release her new album in November.

“She’s in a really good place,” Stephan Moccio told the LA Times. Moccio is a songwriter and producer who’s known Dion for years and worked with her on her upcoming album. “The love of her life is gone, but I think she’s found this unique confidence – this kind of emotional wisdom – that we’ve never seen before.”

Dion's husband and manager, René Angélil, passed away almost three years ago from a heart attack. “The loss of my husband is still in me,” Dion told the publication. “I will grieve that for the rest of my life. And I see him through the eyes of my children every day.”

With Dion’s new lease on life, her attitude and confidence have given her the right tools to stay relevant with new fans. Telling the publication that she is very flattered by all the young fans she sees in her audience. “For me, I’m very impressed about that. I always thought my crowd was going to mature with me, and then it would fade a little bit. But what happened? I planted cucumbers in my garden, and now I have cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, radish.”

Her new songs and world tour only show off Dion’s new sense of boldness and spirit. “I love the spotlight – I love to be looked at,” she said. “I’m in show business. You show your butt or your back or your shoulder and you go, ‘Voulez-vous coucher avec moi.’ “Life is short,” she continued. “Can we just have a good time?”
