Is This A Picture Of A Door Or A Beach, Because The Internet Is Freaking Out Over The Answer

When you experience an optical illusion, what you are seeing isn’t always identical to the actual image. As a result of being unclear of what you are seeing, your brain works to sort things out. Optical illusions are very deceptive. The more effort you put into figuring out what they are allows for you to exercise your brain while refining your observation.

Currently on the internet, there is an optical illusion creating a buzz across social media platforms. All over the world users are debating on what the image is displaying. Many are getting the answer wrong, including myself. People are divided between whether the image is portraying a beach or a door in the colors of green, blue and white.

Under different circumstances, these colors would be very soothing to its onlookers. However, it is currently causing a lot of distress for those who are trying to figure out what it is.

A poll was taken by Twitter and it showed that the amount of people who think the image is a beach equal to 46 percent. Those who believe the image to be a door equal to 54 percent. The image overall has been liked by users over 30,000 times and the comments amount to over 19,000.

For a while, no one could agree on what they saw in the photo.

For hours users were rotating the image trying to make out what the photo was showing. One user went as far as tweeting that she had been rotating her phone for six minutes straight trying to come to a conclusion. Another user expressed his frustration to the person who originally posted the photo for bringing so much stress into his life with the conflicting photo. Others have simply reposted the photo hoping someone would clarify the image for them.

Later the person who originally posted the photo uploaded the same image at a different angle to offer clarity to those wishing to know what the photo really is. At one angle the photo looks to surely be an upright green, blue and white door. The new angle eliminated all confusion and revealed that the image is clearly a beach. Many people were shocked at the outcome.

This image was a true optical illusion.

Thankfully the illusion was cleared up and the debate has been ended for those following the Twitter user who originally shared the photo on social media.
