Irrefutable Cuteness Of Munchkin Kitten Gets Popular On Social Media

Have you ever seen a kitten so cute you could physically feel your heart melting? If not, then you’ve come to the right place. A video of a sweet munchkin kitten originally from December 2018 has recently resurfaced and has been going viral. The adorable tiny cat’s face is so squishable and her eyes are as wide as saucers. You can’t help but want to bop her pink nose. While the videos of the kitten originally came from South Korea, the pretty kitty has been stealing hearts all over the world thanks to the power of the internet.

Munchkin cats are known for their stubby little legs and scrunchy face, while the rest of their body is also a bit more plump compared to other cat breeds. These furry friends are sometimes referred to as sausage cats due to their unique body shape and size. Their legs are incredibly short, making them look as if they glide across the floor whenever they walk. Even their ears are unique, as they are typically downturned. Their paws seem too big for their fluffy bodies, but that doesn’t stop them from exploring.

While most cats spend a great deal of time sleeping, the moments they are awake and active tend to be some of the funniest and most attention-grabbing. These small animals are known for being mischievous and getting themselves into trouble, all the while still looking precious. This munchkin cat in the now-viral video definitely got herself into some antics, but it’s impossible to be mad at someone with eyes as big and sweet as hers.

The main characterization of this cat breed is its physical appearance, which was caused by a genetic mutation. Munchkin cats are considered to be the original breed of the dwarf cat, another cat with shorter and thicker legs caused by a genetic mutation. The rest of their bodies are a bit more stout compared to most cats, relating back to their comparison to sausages.

The munchkin cat’s name was actually inspired by “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum, who classified some of the characters in the novel as munchkins. This breed has become pretty well-known over the years and was even recognized by The International Cat Association in 1995. The association is considered the world’s largest genetic cat registry and has administered plenty of cat shows to showcase all the different felines.

A video by Viral Paws was posted to YouTube on Dec. 14, 2018, that consisted of a compilation of an adorable munchkin cat. The video caption perfectly described the special kitty, and said, “cute, cuddly, fluffy and full of fun.” Since its original upload, the video has been seen well over 14 million times and has received over 173 thousand likes. It’s safe to say that people all around the world have fallen in love with this beautiful creature.

The video compilation consisted of short clips from the Instagram account Cattral Park. The social media account has a great following of 21.1 thousand people, and also has over 1.2 thousand posts showing off beautiful cats doing a plenitude of activities, from playing with toys to hanging out on their tall cat towers.

The account is based in South Korea and has plenty of opportunities for people all over the world to engage with them and purchase products for their own pets. The Cattral Park website is full of great products, from cat towers to scratching posts, for any furry friend to enjoy.

Throughout the video, the little furball was seen doing what most cats do. She played with her stunningly white paws, kneaded a blanket as she softly fell asleep and trotted all around her house. As the video continued on, the sweet munchkin cat continued to melt people’s hearts with her adorable eyes and quirky personality. The colors of her soft fur radiated in the light, with the bright whiteness of her belly being shown off every time she flipped over on her back. A light tan color dusted the top of her fur and ran along the length of her body.

Her playfulness was on full display as she pawed at and grabbed a wooden fish toy attached to her cat tower. This big-eyed beauty was then seen pushing a ball around with her stubby little paws. The munchkin cat even had a sense of humor being decked out in a costume designed to make her look like a lamb.

Of course, after plenty of playing, the tiny kitty needed a nap and snuggled up in a cozy blanket that she kneaded at for a few moments before she drifted off to sleep. Another clip later in the video compilation showed the cat cuddling up against someone’s leg as she struggled to keep her eyes open. She received plenty of love and attention.
