Shay Bradley passed away, leaving four surviving children and several grandchildren. His relatives faced the sadness of life without the loving Irish Defense Force veteran. Shay had a reputation for being a prankster, a trait that endeared him to friends and family. Few realized the great extent he would go to pull off a prank.

His family learned how fun-loving Shay was when they lowered his coffin into the ground. Incredibly, Shay Bradley planned his last prank before his passing. He wanted to create a post-humous stunt designed to add some levity to the funeral.

The Prank from the Grave

Shay set up a prank from the grave, literally. As the casket lowered into the grave, funeral attendees could hear bagpipes playing followed by the unmistakable sound of Shay's voice. He sounded confused and a little annoyed at where he was. The recording played Shay annoyed and angry about being in the coffin. The departed grandfather's voice even hollered at funeral attendees to get him out of the coffin, as he shouted "let me out" repeatedly.

Frantic requests to help him out of the coffin served as a prelude to him singing Hello Again, a song once made famous by the legendary Neil Diamond. It didn't take long for family members to realize someone placed a recording inside the coffin. Once the shock subsided, everyone broke into laughter. They realized their beloved father and grandfather played one last joke on everyone.

A Spirited Salute

Shay's daughter uploaded the video to Facebook, where it raised more than a few eyebrows. The funeral assuredly is not like other gatherings for the deceased. Then again, how many people had the same wild sense of humor as Shay Bradley?

Not many people may believe the tale of the "prank played at the funeral," but it happened. Prove the event occurred by letting other people know about it. They might join Shay's family by laughing as a way to toast the deceased man's life. Then let us know your thoughts in the comments.
