Many kind and caring officers who go beyond their job duties don't always get their due. Recently, a heartwarming story emerged from Eldridge, Iowa. A young boy of six recently moved into a new home. The little one named Hayden didn't find the new place too welcoming. The departure from his old house left him a little nervous.

New places can be scary to a little kid. Young Hayden worried about "bad guys" hiding and lurking in the home. His mom went to Facebook to reveal the anxiety her son suffered from after the move. She pointed out Hayden didn't want to sleep in his room. His sister loved the new house, but Hayden could not let go of his fears. His mother said Hayden believes both superheroes and villains are real. Was the young one fearful of any villains hiding in the house?

The Facebook post drew attention from people in the local community. One person alerted to Hayden's plight was Officer Bruce Schwartz. The officer paid a visit to the home to help Hayden out a little.

Officer Schwartz and Hayden went through the entire house to look for bad guys, super-villains, lurking dangers, and more. They even checked out the creepy crawlspace in the home. Officer Schwartz proved to Hayden the house was "bad guy free." All seems a lot well in the house now. Hayden isn't as anxious as he was before, and his mom is can sleep easy now as well.

"I’m just at a loss of words honestly. Officer Schwartz, if you’re reading this, thank you from the bottom of my mama heart," his mom posted on Facebook per Fox News. "The kindness you’ve shown Hayden certainly doesn’t go unnoticed and I know he will remember this forever."

The uplifting story reminds you of how good some people can be. How about showing others this wonderful bit of truth? Maybe they'll spread the story, too.
