Thanks to a Twitter user’s recent garlic peeling hack, the masses are learning of a new process that they were not yet privy to and using in the kitchen. People are going nuts over the simplistic nature of the novel approach that they had never thought of themselves.

Recently, @VPestilenZ posted a super fast technique for peeling cloves off from a head of garlic. The video poster said, “As someone who makes a lot of Korean food, this is the best method for getting garlic peeled!”

In the online video, someone is holding a knife in one hand and a head of garlic in the other. To efficiently peel the garlic, the knife’s point is used to stab each individual clove, and a pulling motion quickly separates the clove, sans peel. The process is exceedingly efficient.

Internet users are smitten. So many are retweeting the hack, including model and acclaimed cookbook author Chrissy Teigen. She shared the video with her followers, adding the comment, “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT.”
