It's something artists do frequently- sing the national anthem in front of large crowds. Any famous singer has done it at least once. If you ask country superstar Brad Paisley, no matter how many times he's sung the national anthem, the thrill of that performance never gets old.

He documented another one of those incredible moments when he recently performed the national anthem for Game 3 of the World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Being a big Dodgers' fan, Paisley was ecstatic to be performing before the electrified crowd at Dodger Stadium.

Although this wasn't the first time the singer has performed the national anthem before a World Series game- he also performed in 1999 and 2017- this moment was particularly special for the 3-time Grammy Award winning artist. He had a special guitar made for the performance which featured a blue paisley design and the Los Angeles Dodgers team logo.

It was also the first time a group of F-15's have flown above head during his performance. The singer was so moved by the moment that he even requested fans via his Instagram account to share any pictures or videos they had captured of the F-15 flyover.

Making the night even more memorable, the Dodgers went on to win the game after an astounding 18 innings. The game set the record for the longest World Series game in the history of baseball.

Paisley took advantage of the record-setting moment to joke again with fans on Instagram, posting another photograph of his performance where he's seen wearing a white Los Angeles Dodgers jersey with the caption, "18 innings ago. Flashback Friday to a game that ended...Saturday...#worldseries2018."

With the Dodgers winning the game, they're sure to bring Paisley back for a repeat performance of the national anthem if they make it to the World Series again next year. The "Whiskey Lullaby" singer just might be their good luck charm.
