A pet is a creature that is kept for an individual's amusement as opposed to a working creature, a domesticated animal, or a research facility creature. Well-known pets are frequently considered to have appealing appearances, insight, and relatable characters that make them easily likable.

However, a few pets might be taken in on an unselfish premise and acknowledged by the owner, paying little heed to these attributes. For instance, if an animal, was in a situation that required help, and a person feels the need to offer support. This is the case for Jenna, a rather unusual pet who has shown extraordinary qualities for a cow, including mooing until she receives a hug each day.

Jenna was a dairy cow who was bound to not survive because of the sad reality that she was born in such a condition that she could not manage to meet the targeted objectives of a dairy cow. This was because of the fact that she was found to be barren and unfit to create milk.

In any case, luckily she was spared when she was three-days-old back in November 2018. She was then taken in by Ryan Phillips and Mallory Sherman. The two own a non-profit farmyard sanctuary that became a perfect place for Jenna. In her new home, she was not under any expectations from the owners. The protection offered there is the only place she could find a home.

Ryan and Mallory's farm is situated in Williamsburg, Virginia. This is where they took Jenna and took care of her at this young age. Ryan consistently continued talking and laying with her in the animal dwelling place and ensuring that she was stable and upbeat.

He was forced to nurse the young barren calf all through to the point that Jenna viewed him like a mother. The deed made Ryan and Jenna develop a strong bond between them. As most young animals do with their mothers while breastfeeding, Jenna would knock Ryan's belly in an attempt to get milk. Jenna had forgotten about her origin and now taken on a new life from that of a regular calf.

Jenna bonded, loved, and cherished her kin. She turned out to be their pet and a member of the sanctuary animal family. Jenna adores them so much that she moos at them until they give her an embrace and a welcome, specifically targeting Ryan's hugs and attention every morning. This is the most adorable thing ever since it is also uncommon.

Thus, Ryan and Jenna keep on having a bond that results in her mooing for Ryan and requiring morning embraces. Great moments together during the day and night enfold, and scratches were also part of the relationship. The two grew to become great friends as Jenna became a part of the big family.

As reported by the New York Post, Ryan said of his special relationship with Jenna: “We are truly best friends, and she’s definitely just as much family as any human could be."

Jenna was born a twin. She was also born barren and, therefore, useless to a profit-oriented farmer. It is in this state where she acquired the nickname Jenna. Originally, she was named Freemartin, which means that she was not able to have any have calves or produce milk.

The original owner found no use for Jenna. However, his daughter pleaded to him and managed to convince her father to find another home for the abnormal calf.
