Lady Gaga. We've known her as a singer since 2009 and that she's an Italian from New York City but she's slowly becoming a movie star in her own right as well. After collaborating with Tony Bennett on a jazz album, in 2015, she began reinventing her image and has since created an album titled "Joanne" and performed at numerous events, even been on television and she began venturing into film with a Netflix documentary last year.

Right now, she's promoting "A Star is Born". She has been on red carpets all around the world in couture fashion lately while getting word about the movie out there to the public. It's a remake of the 1937 film and 1954 musical about a country musician who falls in love with an up and coming singer.

Everyone involved with the movie, including Bradley Cooper (He produced and directed it and also stars opposite Gaga.), has been getting rave reviews. Oscar nominations for "A Star is Born" are quite the possibility.

This is an accomplishment since the movie has been in talks in Hollywood since 2011 with the script floating around amongst many big names before making it into them. Also, it would certainly be a good follow-up to Gaga's 2015 performance of a medley of songs from "The Sound of Music" and her nomination back then. I guess we'll see what audiences have to say and how the Academy regards the film.

During the weekend, she was at the Toronto Film Festival in Ontario, Canada and wore a black ensemble that was very much talked about.

Her costar, Lukas, happens to be Willie Nelson's son, and while he sang her praises at the festival, Gaga began crying. He talked about how this was her first leading role.

When she took in the compliment, her feelings really got the best of her.

She began crying and blew a kiss out to the audience as they gave her a standing ovation. She said it best herself. She lives for the applause.

While at age 32, she's done a lot during the last decade and this would seem like just another feat for her, but at that moment it was apparent to the looking on that she is still thankful for where life takes her.

The movie can be seen in theaters on October 5th. Dave Chappelle and Halsey have parts in it as well.
