Identical Twins With Special Needs Are Now Looking For A Loving Family To Adopt Them

Oct 21, 2019 by apost team

Identical twin sisters Charlotte and Jessica have been fighting an uphill battle ever since they were born 13 weeks premature.

Their biological mother did not even realize that she was pregnant with them, causing the girls to miss out on crucial prenatal care. The twins have been fighting to survive from the minute they took their first breath and now they are fighting to find a forever home to love them and give them the best.

However, with so many babies waiting to get adopted, there is a shortage of loving homes for these children. The wait is even longer for babies such as Jessica and Charlotte because they have special needs and also because they want to stay together in one home.

The girls are currently living in a foster home. While Charlotte has defied the doctors' predictions by walking, Jessica still struggles to stand up on her own.

Although the girls have a myriad of health issues, they have still maintained their sunny dispositions. The toddlers are always cuddling each other. Their foster caregiver, 64-year-old Leslie, would love to adopt them as her own but she fears that she is getting too old to commit to the long-term parenting role. The social worker stresses that it will take the right family to be able to provide for the sweet girls.

You can bring awareness about the need for adoptive families by spreading these adorable photos of Jessica and Charlotte. Be sure to spread their story to everyone that you know so that more people are aware of the special adoption message.
