Ice-T’s Youngest Daughter Chanel Shows Long Hair & Dimples As She's Posing In Colorful Print Dress In Pool

Rapper Ice-T and his wife Coco Austin, otherwise known as Nicole Natalie Marrow, are both famous in their respective careers — Ice-T as a rapper and actor, and Austin for her career as a model and reality TV star. But together, the couple is just as famous for their personal life. Married since 2002, they even had a famous reality show called "Ice Loves Coco," which aired from 2011 to 2013, as well as a short-lived talk show.

Although they were married for over a decade without children, in 2015 the couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Chanel Nicole. Now 5-years-old, Chanel will be celebrating her 6th birthday at the end of November. With famous parents like hers, it's no surprise that Chanel has also been in the spotlight alongside them. 

In fact, since the couple is known for sharing a lot of their lives with the public, especially on social media, they've already given their daughter a head start by creating her own Instagram account on which they share photos of Chanel, both alone and with her family. Giving influencers a run for their money, Chanel already has over 452,000 followers!

On her account, Chanel can be seen modeling in photos, suggesting that she might one day follow in her mom's career. From adorable solo shots of Chanel modeling pretty dresses to photos with her mom, where they're often in matching clothes, Chanel's Instagram could be mistaken for an influencer's more than four times her age and she certainly has the follower count for it! 

In one recent photo, Chanel can be seen modeling in the pool as she dons a colorful print dress. Clearly, the youngster has been given some tips from her famous model mom, Coco Austin, as her pose looks incredibly professional. Standing with her feet in the water, Chanel is holding her dress with one hand with her head tilted to the side, as she gazes directly into the lens. With a sweet smile that shows off her dimples, Chanel shows just why she's considered to be a mini-me of her father, Ice-T, however, there is certainly a resemblance to her gorgeous mom, especially with her lovely long hair.

The colorful dress features a black-and-white background while tropical imagery covers it, including flamingoes, leaves and flowers — a perfect fit to the summery pool setting. The caption even makes reference to this, as it reads, "Summer vibe🦜☀️🦩"

In a 2015 interview with E!, Austin talked about having Chanel after the age of 35. She explains it was her plan all along, explaining:

"When I got with him, I was like 35 is the number. I was on the pill for 17 years. I got off the pill and was like ‘Hey, how are we going to do this?' and they said it usually takes a year to regulate your body."

But just two months later, Austin was pregnant with Chanel and the rest is history. Now that their gorgeous little girl is growing up each day, it's exciting for the couple to show the world their happy little family.

However, recently, the couple was criticized when Austin revealed to her followers in March that she still breastfeeds Chanel. While most were not against the idea of her breastfeeding her daughter, Austin came under fire because Chanel was 5 years old at the time. 

In an interview with US Weekly on July 31, 2021, Austin said she continues to breastfeed Chanel because she likes it, and Austin doesn't want to just tell Chanel “no.” The interview was focused more generally on parenting do's and don'ts, but most of the attention from readers honed in on Austin’s choice to continue breastfeeding. 

While Austin’s daughter does have a well-balanced diet outside of being breastfed, many have written hateful comments directed at both Austin and Ice-T for their parenting choices. Some fans are outraged by Austin's actions, while others are taking her side, including her husband, who defended his wife on his Twitter.

But while Chanel is the apple of her mom and dad's eyes, she's actually not Ice-T's first child. The rapper has two other children — the first was a daughter with his high school girlfriend, while the second was a son with his former girlfriend of 17 years, Darlene Ortiz. In fact, Ortiz played a role in the rapper's early career, as she appeared on various record covers of his. After appearing on the cover of his 1988 "Power" album, Ortiz widely became known as the first vixen of hip-hop.

A number of years after starting to date in 1985, the couple had a child together — a son named Ice Tracy Marrow Jr., who was born on Nov. 23, 1991. Now a grown-up young man, aged 28, Ice-T's only son has also followed in his father's footsteps and is now a rapper.
