The world can't stop talking about Lady Gaga's performance in the 2018 romantic musical drama "A Star is Born." After hearing the pop star's vocals in the incredible piano ballad "I'll Never Love Again," there's no wondering why the soundtrack has been topping charts around the globe.

The video for the song features a movie clip alongside Bradley Cooper. Gaga's character, Ally, starts off fumbling over some lyrics written down by Cooper's character, country-rock singer Jackson Maine. Nervous, she says, "I want to know what this is. You hiding love songs?"

"No, I wouldn't say I was hiding it," Maine responds. "I started putting it down on paper when we were home." The video then shows Gaga singing and overcome with emotion as tears roll down her cheeks. Gaga, whose roots include an intense love for jazz, showcases her vocal range and emotional talents as she performs.
More than just a moving performance, the song also holds personal meaning for the singer. Lady Gaga wrote the lyrics along with Natalie Henby, Hilary Lindsey, and Aaron Ratiere. There's no doubt her connection to the song with the piece helped add to the intensity and rawness of the performance.
"A Star is Born" debuted in theaters on October 5, 2018, and has been garnering worldwide attention ever since. The soundtrack has been number 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums list for a solid three weeks, a new personal best for Gaga. Her previous record was two weeks in 2011 after the release of her third studio album, "Born This Way."
Another song off the soundtrack titled "Shallow" has also been rising in popularity; it ran for a total of 45 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.
