I Don't Seek Perfection, I Want Someone Who's Trying As Hard As Me

Last night, I was up really late. I couldn't sleep. I kept on thinking about my relationship with my boyfriend. My thoughts were tumbling around in my head. I decided to write them down. Here's what I want my boyfriend to know!

Flowers are nice, but they're not what I need from you. I could be totally happy if you'd never give me an expensive present. Love is not about things. It's not something you can buy in stores. It's about how we feel about each other and how we take care of each other.

I want to know more about you every day. I want you to feel safe telling me your secrets. I promise I will never breathe a word to anyone as long as I live. I want you to open up to me and know that you can trust me as much as I trust you.

I don't want you to ever give up on our love. I wish you would try a little harder to make our relationship as amazing as I know it can be. I believe in the very depths of my soul that having a lasting true love is possible. So many people settle for lives that are less than what they could have. I won't do that! I will never settle for less when it comes to love.

Do you believe in true love? Do you dream of it? I think that anything you want is possible if you believe in it and if you try hard enough. Never sell yourself short, especially when it comes to love. So much is possible, and all you have to do is try.

I yearn for a love that is real and consistent. Are you strong enough to be my partner in keeping this true love alive? I can't do it by myself. We need to do it together. It's not easy. It takes effort, but it is worth it! This is how we will create a bright, shining future.

I know I'm not perfect. Can you deal with that? Are you strong enough to live with my moods? Will you love me just as I am? If you can do that, I will reward you with endless love and loyalty.

I accept you. I want you to be open with me. I want to know what you think. I accept and love you even when I disagree with the things you say. I love you just as you are, and I want you to do the same for me. The more I know about you, the more I love you.

It's the little things that matter the most. There are so many things you do that make my heart sing. I love the way you tickle me when we snuggle on the couch and watch TV. I love the way you kiss me on the side of my neck. I love it when you say nice things about me to your friends. These are the things that really matter.

Our love grows every day. As long as we keep on loving each other, as long as we try hard enough, our love will keep on growing. Our dreams really will come true. Incredible things will happen to us because of our love.

I don't care what other people think. They don't know what our love is really like. All I care about is the love that we share in private. No matter what our love looks like to others, I know it is a beautiful thing that will lift us up as high as we can go.

Are you in? Are you ready to try as hard as I do? Will you be faithful to me with both your body and your heart the way I am to you? If you are willing to choose me as your lover day after day, I will never give up on you.

I am so glad that your love has entered my life. Whatever you do for me, I will return it to you many times over. When you hit a rough patch in life, I will be strong for you, just as I hope you will be for me. I want us to be there forever for each other through good times and bad. I want to always put our love first no matter what happens.

I don't need a perfect relationship. I know I am not a perfect woman. Sometimes I mess up. Sometimes you do too. But I will stand by you no matter what you do, and I want you to do the same for me. That's more than enough. That would make me incredibly happy. Can you do that for me?
