Husky Mom Coached Her Pups How To Howl

A recent video shows five husky puppies surrounding their mother as she successfully teaches them how to howl. They spend a few minutes exercising their new howling abilities.

These rambunctious husky pups' mom looks like she knows a thing or two about playtime. After all, she's sitting next to a pop-up hamper full of toys. She also has everyone's undivided attention.

Although they're all watching her very closely, these five puppies can't seem to settle down. It sounds like they're all screaming as loud as they can. Hopefully, their bark is worse than their bite.

If you can unglue your eyes from these precious pups and look up to mom, you'll soon see whose vocal volume these boisterous puppies inherited. Mom appears to be the ringleader in all this howling. She even raises her head to assume the classic howling posture.

Just as they're starting to sound good, one of the puppies leaves the group. Mom and siblings quiet down. Then, they sit together in stunned silence.

As they quietly rest, the rest of the pups and mom look at the floor. When one of the puppies lies down, its mom gets to work washing its fur. Her instinct has led her to comfort this anxious puppy.

After seconds have passed, the lone ranger raises her or his head and breaks into song once again. After this brave leader intones four rhythmic yelps, the others join in. They combine yelping with howling in a bit of a free-for-all since they're little puppies still learning how to howl.
