When Brad became injured he couldn't work to provide for his wife and 2 children. They were anonymously entered into their local news station's Secret Santa contest. Brad and his wife were speechless when the secret Santa decided to give their family $50,000.

Brad Crow was diagnosed by doctors with a rare form of bone cancer which is called osteosarcoma. He was only 14 at the time and had to undergo grueling bouts of radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Fast forward a few decades and Brad is now married with two children. In 2018, the happy couple finally decided it was the right time to construct their own house. They had adopted two beautiful children and were looking forward to living in their dream home.

Disaster struck as Brad suffered a fracture in his leg while the house was being built. His condition worsened and doctors ended up having to amputate Brad's leg. To make matters even worse another disease was discovered that also required Brad to have his hip replaced.

Because of Brad's health battles, their dream home plans were put on hold as his wife worked to pay the bills and take care of their two children. When East Idaho News' Secret Santa contest showed up to their house, Brad's wife, Erica began crying.

She said she knew about the contest because she watches the show all the time as heard in the Inside Edition video. The host surprised both her and brad with $50,000 to help finish their dream home. It was a Christmas miracle that nobody saw coming.
