Hungry Puppy Left Fuming After Owner Puts Just Two Little Biscuits In His Bowl

People often mistakenly assume that small dogs are the most likely to be docile lap-dwellers. Yet, it is often the smallest dogs that are the fiercest. Or, at least, they enjoy pretending to be fierce. Pomeranians may look like a harmless ball of fluff, but they can develop a temper quickly. This is doubly true when they're hungry. One such hungry fluffball has become a viral hit for his fierce attack after his owner tried to restrict his food.

Of course, this poor pup isn't being fed only two pieces of kibble. Rather, Janeiza, the owner in Thailand, decided it would be funny to prank her pup, named Pao, reports Head Topics. Janeiza shared her prank on TikTok and it was instantly shared by millions.

At the beginning of the video, the chunky furball looks impatient next to his food bowl waiting to be fed. His look transcends species and clearly shows the sentiment "How long are you going to keep me waiting?!" After she slowly begins tipping the cup into his bowl, you can see the weary Pomeranian's eyes light up in anticipation of his next meal. However, things do not go quite as planned.

As he looks down into the bowl, his owner dumps a mere two kibbles into the dish rather than the full bowl he was expecting. At first, he simply glares in confusion and anticipation. Then he realizes he isn't going to get more and he unleashes all the fury that an eight-pound monster can dish out.

First, he simply looks up at her with disgust. Then he begins growling with his most fierce lip-curling rage. Finally, he has had enough and releases the attack. Scamping across the tile floor, Pao struggles to find traction. He lunges towards Janeiza in full attack mode. Of course, such a small mouth is unlikely to do any damage to his owner, and Pao quickly calms down. However, he made his protest be known.

Shortly after the temper tantrum, Pao is given a full bowl of food and happily resumes eating his lunch. However, his short-fused temper was enough to land this video over twenty million views. This probably makes him one of the most famous Pomeranians in the world.

Commenters loved the quick transition from glee to anger from the tiny pup. The comments section was filled with commentary on the short video.

"The way he looked up so slowly... he went from playful to ready to kill instantly. That's hilarious," said one commenter. Several posters said they were laughing so hard at the video that they could barely breathe. One commenter decided to address the situation from Pao's perspective, saying "hooman r u doing me a funny becawz i will do u an angry!"

This video comes on the heels of many popular "dog prank" videos. Some of the most popular of this genre are the often-done "disappearing prank" where the owner will hide behind a blanket and then dash into the other room while the blanket drops. Object permanence is not always the strong suit of dogs, and so the reaction, when they see their owner disappear, is often hilarious. Sometimes they stamp on the blanket looking for their human, while sometimes they simply stare in awe.

Pao is a great reminder that even the small among us aren't meant to be messed with. When you mess with his food, the tiny Pomeranian is quick to switch from cheerful to a predator.
