The judges on America's Got Talent are a lot harder to impress than the average person considering how often they're exposed to people's talents. However, Los Angeles choir Angel City Chorale shook the judges to their core after hearing them perform "Africa" by Toto.

Simon was sure to be his critical self by pointing out that no choir was able to win America's Got Talent. Sue Fink, the director of the choir, was able to spar with Simon by responding, "They weren't us." Although he was rightfully reserved about how unique one choir among so many in this country could be, he quickly realized how wrong his initial judgement was.

What's so unique about this choir is that it's composed of 160 people. The judges were immediately intrigued when the choir only made sound by rubbing their hands together. They progressed to snapping their fingers. Then, when they were slapping their thighs, the audience was so enthralled that they joined the choir to make it sound even more impressive.

The choir built so much hype in that room before people caught on that they were mimicking the sounds of thunder. By the time their thunder reached its peak, three soloists stepped out on stage to sing.

All four judges enthusiastically voted for the choir to move to the next round. Simon wasn't shy about sharing how impressed he was by their performance. After all the judges gave the choir a standing ovation, he said, "I’m gonna remember this for a long time. I’m thrilled.”
