When cleaners at Gatwick Airport found an unattended suitcase stuffed with several clear blue bags filled with unidentified powder, they were understandably concerned. In an era where terrorism is an ongoing concern, they immediately contacted the British Transport Police to investigate.
The police carefully removed the suspicious packages and sent the unidentified powder off to be tested. Once the test results were received, police were in for quite a surprise. The mysterious bags in the suitcase were filled with a pretty rare and valuable substance - vegan cake mix.

Further investigation also led authorities to the owner of the suitcase filled with cake mix - a restaurant in Brighton named Purezza. Relieved that the suspicious package was designed to create meatless meals rather than mayhem, the police took to Twitter to declare that their "bust" had taken several pounds of vegan cake mix off the streets. The police also encouraged travelers to label suspicious looking items in their luggage to avoid additional food-based investigations in the future.

The restaurant responded with a tweet of their own thanking the police for letting them off with a warning and offering them a slice of vegan cake if they were ever in the Brighton area. The police closed their investigation with a final tweet to the restaurant: "And your secret recipe is safe with us."
