How To Slim Down Your Face Using These 8 Simple And Effective Exercises

When you think of slimming exercises, you probably think of your stomach, legs, and arms, but have you ever considered your face? There are benefits to having a more slender face, most notably taking years off it. There are also exercises targeted towards it specifically. These eight workouts will help your face look younger than ever.

They might not be biceps, but your face has muscles. To get your face looking great, you need to make full use of its muscle. This can start with good posture and stretching your mouth by reciting each vowel in your best singing voice possible. It doesn't matter if you have perfect pitch, just as long as you give it a full effort.

1. Keep your chin up

While sitting down with the best posture possible, you want to crane your head as far up as you can. Jut your bottom lip to a count of no more than ten. Release and do it again for several more cycles.

2. Deep breaths

This is like the last exercise, only you're standing up and you have your arms crossed. Bring your chin up as carefully and hold the pose as you inhale slowly. You can then release and repeat.

3. Frown

It might not make you feel good emotionally, but stretching your mouth downwards can have some definite benefits. With your head up, start bringing your mouth to the ground. Take it back and forth and see what kind of feeling it leaves you with.

4. Write with your mouth

Grab a pen or pencil and stick it in your mouth. With your head straight, attempt to write something on the invisible paper around you. It will require a whole lot of focus to get used to it.

5. Work your neck

How your neck feels can help determine how your face looks. For this exercise, you'll want to first lean your head toward your right shoulder, feeling the tension. Then, you'll want to do it on the left side.

6. Work your cheeks

Bring in a whole bunch of air and hold it tight. Next, you'll cover both sides of your face at once with your hands. As your hands press, you can feel the cheeks and the rest of your face becoming stronger.

7. Lose your teeth

Don't worry, your teeth will stay in. You just need to pretend you're a turtle and hide them behind your lips. Jut out your bottom jaw and press on your chin. Feel the tension on your face and work the muscles as much as possible.

8. Lift your fists

Put both hands into fists and have them press your chin upwards while your tongue is beside your bottom row of teeth. Press your fists and hold as you feel the tension increase.
