Although the ceremony was small and private, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry invited everybody who they thought would have a profound influence on their new son Archie’s life. Even Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana, whose passing came too soon, was still honored at her grandson’s baptism.

It looked like a beautiful and bright day this past Saturday as members of the royal family gathered to celebrate Archie’s christening. The Duke and Duchess requested a private ceremony away from the public and press in the personal chapel of Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle. However, the pair did release photos to give the world a sneak peek of what the ceremony was like.

Photographer Chris Allerton took portraits of the family members who came together for a group photo. Two women standing in the back right behind Meghan and Harry represent a very touching tribute the couple paid to the late Princess Diana.

The two ladies are Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale the sisters of the late Princess. It appears that the inclusion of the two women was a clear indication of the involvement of Diana in Archie's life.

The Duke and Duchess have already taken other steps to make sure Diana’s family has been included in Archies life from the beginning. Robert Jobson, Royal author, and journalist tweeted that Lady Jane Fellowes was one of the first family members to meet baby Archie.

Harry and Meghan continue to show that Diana’s memory will always be held close to their hearts, and they seem to want Archie to have the continuing influence of Diana’s life on his.
