Two police officers from Houston, Texas, were doing their regular patrols of parks whilst they are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. They thought it would be a normal, quiet day, but they had quite a surprise when they found a group of lost ducklings. They were clearly flustered and looking for their mom, so the police officers escorted them back to her.

Both Assistant Chief Larry Satterwhite and Sergeant Engelhart were on duty monitoring the Memorial Park in Houston when they saw the lost ducklings. They could tell the little ducklings were distressed, so they did what they could to help remedy their situation.

"A big thank you to @houstonpolice Sgt. Engelhart who not only helped me after I locked my keys in the car this morning, but also helped these little chicks find their way back to mom — all while making sure that folks know all @HoustonTX parks are closed due to #COVID19," she wrote.
