House Cat Sees Untamed Bobcat Asleep On Porch And Their Bewilderment Is Comedic

House cats are usually pretty spoiled creatures. They get wet food, dry food, and treats. Many have wonderful perches next to sunny windows and warm areas where they can live out their entire lives lounging around. But despite cats' typically sedentary and somewhat boring lives, this house cat from a popular 2008 YouTube video shows that this isn't always the case. This indoor cat got to meet a bobcat — and luckily, the encounter was captured on video. While we can't seem to find the exact origins of this video, we loved it and wanted to pass it on.

So what happens when a spoiled house cat comes face to face with a wild animal that looks a lot like itself? A homeowner was recently alerted to an unexpected visitor on her front porch. Her faithful feline companion was sure to let her know that something wasn’t quite right! You can see how confused the little kitty was when he looked out the door and saw another cat outside.

However, this cute little house cat could tell that there was something different about this particular cat. It sure was bigger! The house cat then began to scratch at the cat through the glass door that separated them. The wild cat woke up and looked at the glass to see what was making the noise.
The bobcat was startled to see the cat looking back at him through the glass. After all, the cat wasn’t there when he stretched out to take his nap. Luckily, the homeowner was ready with the camera. She started to record the adorable interaction between the two in order to show everyone online. We are so happy she filmed it!
The house cat paces around as the bobcat just sits quietly. The two cats also touch noses through the glass before the wild animal decided he was ready to go back to sleep. He gets up and moves over to the other side of the glass before settling back down for another nap. It is definitely one of the cutest videos you will see online!
