Animals are one of the biggest joys in life. No matter what kind of animal is your favorite, there’s no doubt that these creatures put a smile on our faces each and every single day. Whether they are our favorite four-legged pets or we’re admiring wildlife, animals hold a special place in the hearts of many. But what’s more adorable than animals? Baby animals, of course!

One lucky hospital in New York gets to witness an adorable parade of baby ducks each and every year when the eggs hatch. Of course, many of us have seen this precious sight outdoors, but this hospital actually allows the ducks inside to celebrate life!

The University of Rochester has a Thompson Health hospital located in New York where one mother duck comes each and every year to show off her new offspring in front of all the patients and staff! One staff member posted about the parade on their Facebook account, where they stated that each year the mama duck lays her eggs at a courtyard of the hospital.

Then, she waits patiently for the eggs to hatch and raises her babies on the grounds. When the mother is ready to leave, she taps on the glass of the hospital windows and the staff lets her out accompanied by her new babies!

The ducks do a short walk around the premises until they’re ready to go back outside. Employees even follow the ducks around to make sure that they’re headed in the correct direction! It’s a sight you have to see for yourself to believe.

Thankfully, the hospital was willing to post photographs of the amazing scene on their social media for other people around the world to enjoy. Once the parade is over, the ducks are finally back outside and continue their life adventure at a local park. This year, the mother boasted a large amount of offspring, weighing in at 13 baby ducks! Obviously, animals are often used as emotional support for humans, cheering them up in times of need.
