Homeless Pup Looking For Warmth On Cold Night Discovered Curled Up In A Manger With Baby Jesus

Some dogs have amazing lives with people who love them like family, while others are forced to live out their existence struggling from one day to the next. One homeless dog in Criciuma, Brazil knew far too well about the rough side of life. This poor pooch was out fending for himself, looking for a place to spend the night out of the elements when he discovered the perfect location!

Nothing more than a puppy, this little dog was relieved when he saw a welcoming bed of straw and a figure of a person that he could snuggle up against. Even if it wasn’t a real human, at least the puppy would feel like he had a place where he belonged at the side of this doll.

Little did the puppy know that he had happened upon a manger scene and was snuggling up to baby Jesus.

A group of tourists happened by to look at the manger and discovered the little dog taking sanctuary against Jesus. In awe of the situation, they quickly snapped some pictures of the special moment.

The women posted the pictures online, happy to showcase this dog and his resting spot off to the rest of the world. While we’re not sure what happened to the dog, we hope that someone saw his picture and opened their home to this poor wayward animal.

Christmas time brings a lot of happiness to those who have a warm home and loved ones around them; however, the scene of this puppy reminds us that there are other humans and animals that are out in the cold and feel all alone during this special season. Let’s remember to do something special to make their holidays brighter! If there’s room at the manger for a poor homeless dog, then surely there is room in our hearts to reach out to others who need a place to stay and a warm meal to fill their stomachs.
