Homeless Man Asks To Sing With Busker On New Year's Eve

Johnny Walker, a United Kingdom-based street performer, was working in Leeds during the holidays.

He was normally a solo performer but when a homeless man approached him and asked to sing, he agreed. Thank goodness he did. His addition to the performance was not a disappointment.

Bernard Davey, the homeless man, now deceased, had quite a back story. He was well known and loved all around the city. He had two children of his own and is a former cast member of Harry's Game, a TV show. He was also once part of the Irish folk scene, as reported here in The Irish Post.

What we've written here about the performance just doesn't do the sound of his voice justice.

You won't be sorry that you took the time to listen. It goes to show that talent can be found anywhere and that you can never judge a book by its cover.

Sadly, Jonny Walker, the street performer has also passed away, as reported here at Cheshire-Live.com. During his life he campaigned for the rights of homeless people and buskers all over the country. May he always be remembered for this video with Bernard, that went viral, and many other performances that brightened people's lives.

Take a look at this video and see what you think. Would you have thought this man would be able to sing like that? Would you have considered that he had a past, especially one on TV? Pass this on to friends or family who love a surprise.
