Homeless Man Asks To Perform With Street Musician — Moment He Begins Onlookers Pause Dead In Their Tracks

Street performers are found everywhere these days. It's just not that uncommon to see one around the city area. But this type of performer may not be so common. Johnny Walker, a United Kingdom Based busker, chose to perform in Leeds on one cold night.

He is normally a solo performer, but he decided to allow a guest into his performance. Without hesitation, Johnny allowed a homeless man to join in for a soul-wrenching rendition of George Gershwin's Summertime. And thank goodness he did. His addition to the performance was not a disappointment.

Brian "Bernard" Davey, the homeless man, was well known in Leeds for his YouTube performance, which spread far and wide across the internet. Unfortunately, The Irish Post reports that Bernard passed away in 2017 at the age of 66 after a battle with homelessness.

In the past, Bernard had been married and was a former cast member of Harry's Game, a TV show. He was also formerly a part of the Irish Folk scene.

What we've written here about the performance just doesn't do justice for the sound of his voice.

You'll have to hear it for yourself.

You won't be sorry that you have taken the time to listen either. It shows that talent can be found anywhere and that you surely can't judge a book by its cover.

Take a look at this video and see what you think. Would you have thought this man would be able to sing like that? Would you have considered that he had a past, especially one on TV? Let us know what your thoughts are in the comments below.
