As Americans, we have many sources of pride and patriotism. In addition to establishing the first democracy in the modern world, we have spread the ideals of freedom and government by the people throughout the world.

We are also the world leader in scientific innovation, having been the first people in both the air and in space. To celebrate everything that makes America extraordinary, a group of country music artists performed a stirring rendition of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A" that has since gone viral.

Home Free is no stranger to success. In 2013, the group placed first in season four of the NBC music competition series The Sing-Off, winning $100,000 and a contract with Sony Records.

Two years later, the a cappella group took the world by storm with their cover of Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A," inspiring millions of listeners with their love of their country. In the three years since the song's release, it's music video has been watched over 10 million times on YouTube.

Those who have commented on the video's page say that they have been moved by the group's rendition. The song features the five members of Home Free standing near Mount Rushmore as they sing "God Bless the U.S.A." with state flags billowing in the background.

One listener said that he isn’t even American but was nevertheless brought to tears by the beautiful melody in Home Free’s take on Greenwood’s classic hit.

Veterans in particular have commented on how much they appreciate the group’s proud display of patriotism. The video begins with a dedication to veterans everywhere and closes with a quote by the Great Emancipator himself, Abraham Lincoln, urging the public to support those in the armed services and those civilians who help soldiers and sailors in combat zones. One veteran said that the video made him cry tears of joy as he thanked Home Free for covering such an iconic song.
