Matt is a young man who might seem somewhat like a tough guy, but he has proven that he can be a real softy at times. Matt was driving down the road one day when he spotted something small in the middle of the road. He wasn't sure if it was alive or not, so he came to a stop to investigate.

According to Bored Panda, Matt was surprised to find that it was a tiny adorable calico kitten. It had been crawling on a road that had woods on either side, so Matt deduced that it had either been born in the wild or someone had cruelly disposed of her there. He felt compelled to save the helpless animal, so he got out of his car and hurried to see if she was alright.

He realized that the tiny kitten wasn't likely to survive alone without a home, so he decided to take her with him. He picked her up and brought her into his truck. As soon as he set her down onto the console, she fell right asleep.

She must have known she was with someone she could trust. She was also exhausted from her dangerous adventure in the middle of a busy road where she probably narrowly escaped a grizzly demise.

When Matt got home, he didn't want to wake the kitten up because she needed rest, so he left her alone with the radio off in his truck. The little thing was making some adorable snoring sounds the whole time.

After an hour, the little kitty woke up. Matt was taken with the sweet little cat, but he has a severe allergy, so he decided it was best to find someone else to care for her.

He took the kitten to a vet where they treated her for fleas and other medical issues that could result from having been abandoned outside. Matt wanted to make sure that the kitten found a good home, so he began interviewing people who were interested in adopting her.

He had to turn some people down because their homes were not ideal for her. He eventually found the perfect home for her where she plays with another rescue cat and she is loved by nice people.
