It is a very strange graduation for all high school kids this year. Since schools and colleges closed their doors due to the coronavirus pandemic, education has been taking place remotely. High school principal, Farica West, from Florida, has honored the class of 2020 by putting a photograph of each of the graduating students on the campus driveway.

Poplar Springs High School in Graceville, Florida, was one of the many schools forced to close due to the COVID-19 crisis. This meant that their class of 2020 would not be able to properly celebrate their graduation. However, the principal of the school, Farica West, decided there had to be a way to commemorate the 30 students who were due to graduate.

She contacted the photographer responsible for taking the twelfth graders' senior portraits and had photographs of all the students enlarged and printed so she could place them in a line down the driveway of the campus. West told WMBB, "They’re missing a lot of the memorable moments that we all hold near and dear to our hearts throughout our whole lives."

The entire community loved this idea, as can be seen from the number of likes and shares the tribute has racked up on social media. Fox News reports that people have been driving through the campus just to see the photos of those who have graduated.

This class may not have been able to get their prom, but in the circumstances, they have been given something very special. One senior, Peyton Brannan, told WTVY, "I don't think she could've done it any more perfect, it's a wonderful idea and very thoughtful."
