High School Marching Band's Outstanding Performance In Parade Impresses The Crowd

The audience at the Magic City Classic Parade was treated to a special performance when the Jefferson Davis Vols Marching Band strutted their stuff. This group of talented high school students put on an amazing show that is garnering attention from all over the country.

Jefferson Davis High School is located in Montgomery, Alabama. They did not hesitate to accept an offer to perform at the Magic City Classic Parade in Birmingham. The students are led by their drum major, Justin Heideman.

While it was a wet and dreary day, the crowd could not help be energized by the performance. Justin was joined by three additional lead dancers as they directed the band down the parade route.

The 17-year-old is being lauded for his impressive skills. An Instagram video of the performance has already gained over 600,000 likes. It did not take long for his social media following to grow once the video was put on Instagram. By the next morning, he already had over 10,000 followers.

The band refers to their beloved drum major as "Vanilla Funk." It is clear that they have great respect for their leader.

The Magic City Classic is held every year at Legion Field in Birmingham. The game pits rival Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University against each other in a much-anticipated showdown. In addition to the game, the event features a kickoff show, a parade, a tailgate party, and more.
