Heroic Road Worker Saves Drowning Kitten's Life And Then Adopts Her

The recent flooding causing issues across Turkey was particularly felt in Istanbul where road workers were forced onto the streets to clear drains blocked with debris. One road worker, Metin Keskin proved himself a hero when he was dispatched to a blocked drain and discovered a stranded, drowning kitten.

Choosing to do the right thing, Metin stepped forward and rescued the drenched feline and quickly set to work saving its life before adding the kitten to his own family with its adoption.

How far would you go to save the life of a drowning kitten, Metin Keskin went further than most of us when he discovered a young feline in a storm drain in Istanbul, Turkey. According to Paws Planet, Keskin is a road worker who was leading the cleanup efforts after days of heavy flooding across the nation when he discovered the stricken kitten.

Spotting the kitten was struggling to breathe, Metin decided he was not going to give up on the cat and set about giving the baby the kiss of life. Photos and videos from the incident show Metin blowing air into the mouth of the stray before gently massaging its chest to bring it back to life.

After the kitten came around, Metin abandoned his duties to take his new furry friend to a nearby animal hospital to get the specialist care needed. You may decide this is enough of a story for you to enjoy but it is not over yet.

Metin decided to keep in touch with the workers at the animal hospital as he checked on the condition of his new pal and grew attached to the kitten. When the kitten was well enough to be released from the hospital, the Keskin family decided a new home was needed for the cat and adopted it to give the kitten it's much needed forever home.
