A pleasant Saturday on the water turns into a frantic emergency. On June 1st, Robyn Blake was out on Dallas' Lake Ray Hubbard, riding her Jet Ski and enjoying a great day. Then, she saw big clouds of black smoke coming off a nearby boat.

Robyn rushed to warn the boat's occupants. Unfortunately, before she could get there, the boat burst into flames.

In the interview with WFAA, this mother of four said, "It just blew in my face." She watched a man fly through the air with his back engulfed in flames. She went around to the front of the boat and found a woman holding a 6-week-old-baby. The woman was screaming, "I have a baby! Help!!"

Robyn knew she had to get that baby to safety, even at risk of her own. She told her daughter, "I'll be right back." She prayed to God that she would be able to keep that promise.

She brought the baby onboard the Jet Ski, then pulled another young girl on. Robyn took the infant and girl to a nearby boat, where a friend waited, watching anxiously. Lacey Hoover and her daughter, Autumn, took over care of the little ones, while Robyn went back to the burning boat. She ended up rescuing four children, likely saving their lives.

Ultimately the boat sank, but everyone survived. Thanks to Robyn's heroics. To recognize her bravery, local radio hosts Leigh Ann and Jeremy from STAR 102.1 FM awarded her the "STAR of DFW". Robyn insists she only did what any other mother would have done.

This woman is a true hero and nothing she says will convince us of anything else. She raced towards a raging fire after all.
