An emotional video has gone viral, showing a bride who surprised her ailing father when he was in the hospital on her wedding day. The video captures the emotional moment when her father is able to dance with her the way he's always wanted to.

A few weeks before Janae Hauger was to be married, her father began to complain that he was having crippling stomach pains. The 59-year-old, Steve Price, was hospitalized due to the condition.

Janae's wedding was set to take place on August 11, but her father received an emergency hospitalization treatment on July 16 -- less than one month before the wedding. While at the hospital, Steve received a diagnosis of severe pancreatitis. He had to stay in the care of the hospital staff for a number of weeks.

The most heartbreaking news was when the doctors told Steve that he was too sick to leave the hospital for his daughter's wedding.

Janae wasn't going down without a fight, though. She had always dreamed that she would dance with her father on her wedding day. A little hospitalization wasn't going to stop her from making sure that happened. So she gave the hospital a surprise visit. When Steve saw how gorgeous his daughter was in her bridal gown, he couldn't hold back his tears. The father and daughter were able to share their dance as "It Won't Be Like This For Long" by Darius Rucker played gently in the background.

Janae says that she'd talked to her father about being walked down the aisle for ages prior to the event. She also says that her dance with her father was a dream moment. She also says that both she and her father felt completely heartbroken when they received the news. The nurses and other hospital staff worked with Janae to help with the surprise.

They told her father that they were taking him for an x-ray, but instead, they brought him to the chapel.

When he arrived, he saw his daughter standing there in her wedding down. Her mom, brother, and three sisters were also there. Janae says that there's no way to express how much emotion was brimming in the room when her dad entered. There was so much love between them all that nobody needed any words. Her dad kept telling her how beautiful she looked and that he couldn't believe everyone was there. Additionally, her dad was able to give her away with FaceTime. He watched the whole wedding ceremony through a live stream.

This is the kind of father-daughter dedication that most parents dream of having. What do you think of Janae's story? Would you do anything to be at your child's wedding?
