Hard-Working Parents Who Struggled To Care For Family Receive House From Their Son

Providing for and caring for a family is typically not easy for the average person. Many people find that they need to work extremely long hours or even pick up extra jobs in order to provide a home and the necessities of life for those that they love. In one particular case, a couple worked two jobs to make ends meet and keep their family finances afloat. This extra work did not go unnoticed, especially by their son LeJuan James, as he thanked his parents for their hard work and love by buying his mother and father a home of their own.

James is a famous YouTube producer who typically makes videos about himself. He shot to stardom status using these funny videos to entertain thousands of people and make their lives a bit happier. However, James knows all too well just how much people have struggled, especially his own family.

His mom worked two jobs. One job was as a housekeeper at Disney, and the other was as a cashier at Walgreens, taking up shifts in the evening. James’ father also worked two jobs. He was a maintenance man and a cashier at Burger King on the night shift. Both of these hard-working parents have been together for over 30 years, being as consistent in their love for each other and their family as they are in their work life.

So it was only fitting when James finally had the ability to carry out his lifelong dream of buying his parents a house of their own. Read on to find out more about this heartwarming story.

While he may not have stated his feelings out loud, James always appreciated his parents’ hard work and sacrifices through the years. According to E! News, he spent several years dreaming of repaying his parents, and in 2017, that dream finally came true. After months of planning, he was finally able to buy a house for his mom and dad. James explained:

“When you’re young and naive you don’t understand how hard your parents are working. My parents would bust their tail working overnights, working multiple shifts and they’d alternate to take care of us, it was three of us. And you don’t really understand until you’re a little older, then you understand the concept of money and how hard it is to get it and how easy it is to spend it.”

He continued:

“I remember that at the end of the year in 2016, one of my new year resolutions was to do that for them. I was able to invest into myself the previous year, and now I wanted to invest in them.”

On that exciting day, James blindfolded his parents and brought them into their new neighborhood. Once he got in front of their new house, he had his parents take their blindfolds off. When the couple discovered what their son had done, tears of joy streamed down their faces. James, too, was overcome by the emotion of this particular moment.

“It means a lot,” he told E! News. “A lot more than what I think people understand because of what they went through.”
