'Hallelujah' Viral Singing Administrators Are Back Again With Cover Of 'Let It Go'

One duo of school administrators from Michigan is certainly making a name for themselves for their amazing cover songs.

The musical genius of Swartz Creek Community Schools started when Swartz Creek Community Schools Superintendent Ben Mainka and Swartz Creek High School Principal Jim Kitchen parodied the classic song “Hallelujah.” The performance was done as a creative way to let families know about school closures due to inclement weather. The song quickly went viral, bringing much attention to the singing duo.

However, they did not stop there. The latest piece by the pair is a cover of the popular Disney song "Let it Go". This song was initially made famous by the animated feature "Frozen."

The two have even been recognized by Michigan Sen. Dayna Polehanki and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The two politicians praised the school administrators for their fun and creativity in using the songs to announce snow days.

The administrators have been gracious with their newfound fame. They say that the songs were all part of their effort to make students and their families feel like they are all a part of the same community.

Michele Corbat, principal of Morrish Elementary School, said that the two men were true champions for the children. Corbat went on to say that the two educators deserve to be recognized for all that they do for the children of the community.
