Hair Model Husband Wows Wife After Chopping Off His Long Locks

Apr 08, 2021 by apost team

In the past, there was a stigma around men growing out their hair as it was considered to be improper. But with evolving cultural expectations, more men are not only comfortable with it, but they also celebrate their long hair. Today, even young boys are finding joy in exploring the magic of different hairstyles for their stylish long locks.

Moreover, in the last decade, thick and healthy beards are also becoming a symbol of masculinity. Thanks to the wide range of products specifically made for facial hair today, men are loving the process of growing and maintaining a beard. It is now common to see long-haired men sporting glorious facial hair across the world. As it is no longer just a local phenomenon, it looks like men are not giving up on this trend just yet.

Most of us don't have the ability to grow out our hair and look as dashing as the Norse God Odin, but this man can pull it off really beautifully. Greg Berzinky from Philadelphia is the ideal candidate to show the magic of the combination of long locks and an impressive beard. And at 57 years old, he looks like he has come straight out of a mythological story.

While it is his job to be good-looking since he works as a model, he embraces his beautiful tresses and facial hair with his heart, as it has given him new confidence in himself. However, after having the same look for a long time, he and his wife, Mary Berzinsky, decided it was time to change things up back in Dec. 2020. The result of his new haircut blew everyone away!

Greg currently works as a model and influencer for the company Beardbrand, which specializes in products and services for beards and facial hair. Greg is their oldest influencer, but he has a very significant following on his Instagram page with over 308,000 followers! This is unsurprising; with his long, silver beard and salt and pepper hair, Greg is a highly attractive man who can truly pull off the long-hair-long-beard look. Even at 57, his hair has remained thick and healthy, and it looks like he has done his part to keep it in its best shape.

Greg is actually an architect by training as his Beardbrand page explains, but he has also chosen to nourish his creative side that has a keen interest in areas such as drawing, painting, fashion, interiors, home construction projects, dance, travel and photography. This is an incredibly packed list, but Greg has found a way to bring all of his interests into his life.

He is also a dad to Victor, 21, who graduated from Waltham College, and daughter Ava, 19, who attends Ohio State University. He has been married to his wife Mary for over 25 years, and the two continue to have a beautiful relationship. In fact, Mary appears in many of Greg's photos on social media, and the two of them look like they are made for each other. Jayakanth J commented on the video below, "This couple looks so gorgeous at this age. Imagine how they would have looked during their 20's !!" We can't help but agree! Even in their 50s, both Mary and Greg look spectacular.

In the video below, Greg explains that he is on his way to Austin, Texas, to cut off his long, silver hair that he has been growing out for three years already. While Mary does not join him, she is waiting to be surprised by the length that Greg will choose, and adds, "I don't think he is cutting it all off, but we'll have to see." It may be that Mary has grown to love Greg's gorgeous mane.

Once Greg makes the journey and reaches Austin, he leaves the hair cut and styling to the stylist at the Beardbrand Barbershop. However, even the stylist seems surprised that Greg wants to cut off all of his long hair. Once the initial big cut is made, Greg laughs with wonder and happiness. He has lost none of his dashing looks, and if anything, looks even better than before. Even the stylist is compelled to tell Greg, "You're gorgeous, what can I say?"

As the video goes on, we slowly see Greg's long locks transformed into a sharp, short look that takes him from Lord Odin to millennial model. Both looks work extremely well, and it is clear from the video below that Greg has lost none of his charm or allure in the final look. When he makes his way back home to Philly, his wife is blown away by his short hair! She looks dazzled and a little surprised by her husband's choice of hair length, but it is clear that she loves it.

Greg can pull off any look, but the one he chose is suave and very attractive. Watch the transformation for yourself in the video below:
